This is a fast paced
non stop adventure into the hell of the zombie apocalypse. Rachel jumps
right into the action with her sassy main character Reagan! Once a
popular cheerleader, she's become a gun wheeling zombie fighting bada$$.
With he equally feisty sidekick Haley, the girls have survived on their
own for almost three years. That is until they raid a Jr miss section
of a department store. Too distracted by fresh clothes, new shoes (&
my favorite) make up, the girls become surrounded by zombies! Hearing
the commotion, two very hot brothers Hendrix & Vaughan *double sigh*
come to the girl's rescue. These are no ordinary brothers, these boys
have a full blown zombie-prof set up! Maybe Reagan can find love in a
zombie infested world!!
What I Thought:
Ok
y'all prepare yourself to be locked down in this book for a couple of
hrs. I'm totally serious, feed the hubs, kids & any pets you have
because you'll be dead to the world!! (Haha!! Get it dead??) ok, ok.....
Seriously, there is never a dull moment in this book! Reagan &
Haley are either literally running for their lives, whispering so as to
not attract zombies or having a snarky flirty conversation with Hendrix
& Vaughan (did mention they were HAWT??) the amount of detail my
girl Rachel pours into this story is incredible! From the rotting stench
constantly hanging in the air to the impenetrable silence, "Love &
Decay" will entrap you in an apocalyptic journey that will leave you
thirsty for more!! My only complaint?? I wanted it to be longer!! But
never fear, this is only book one........oh & note to self, start collecting personal hygiene products to prepare for zombie apocalypse!!!!

was
born and raised in Nebraska, but spent my college years traveling the
world. I fell in love with Eastern Europe, Paris, Indian Food and the
beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka. But I came back home to marry my high
school sweetheart and now I spend my days raising our growing family. In
those few spare moments I have, I am either reading or writing Young
Adult Fiction, because I am obsessed with it.

2. 90's music. Oh man, the 90's speak right to my soul.
