Title:True Connection
Author:Rachel Walter
Synopsis:
It's going to take a fight, I know that. But
it's more than just a fight for my life. It's a fight for my soul and my soul
mate.'
Jazzy Williams is not your average
coffee-loving teen. She's struggling with her grief, her famous uncle’s fans,
an overprotective big brother, and a depressed mother, all while trying to make
friends at her new school. In the first week, she meets a gorgeous green-eyed
hottie who turns out to be more than just some high school crush - he's more
than human. And she unknowingly enrages a very dangerous breed of immortal who
wants her soul or life as payment. With the help of supernatural friends and
protectors, Jazzy thinks she's safe until what remains of her family is put in
danger. Does Jazzy have what it takes to save her family, life, soul and soul
mate, or will all be lost?

My Review:
Jazzy Williams is not your average carefree teen. She's dealing
with several adult issues, the passing of her famous uncle (& his
fan girls) a very overprotective brother, a depressed mother AND the
pressure of starting a new school. Her life is about to turn around
though, Jazzy's first week of school she meets the dashing &
mysterious Seth *sigh*. As she & Seth grow closer, Jazzy not only
finds an escape from her troubling life, also discovers Seth is more
than human!!!
But hold on y'all, Rachel isn't done with this story, a huge twist is coming. Jazzy has unknowingly infuriated a very powerful & treacherous immoral and as payment he demands her soul. Jazzy is suddenly thrust into a world she never even knew existed. With protectors as her constant companions, Jazzy begins to feel safe.........until her mom & brother are taken! Will Jazzy bargain her soul for her family & Seth?? You'll have to read to find out!!

My Thoughts:
OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! I loved this book!! There was never a dull
moment & I was gripping my iPad the whole time ( I'm gonna crack it
one day!!) I really adored Jazzy, yes her life was hard, her brother was
very overprotective & her mom pretty much absent because of her
depression. Jazzy never once complained or did the whole "poor me" whiny
thing. Oh & her relationship with Seth *sigh again* was such a
bright spot in this book & so exciting to watch unfold. Seth would
go to any length to protect Jazzy, see perfect! I would recommend this
book to any paranormal & romance lover!
