Blog Tour: Bailey Ardison's Sweet Oblivion

Author: Baiely Ardison

Genre: YA, Fantasy & Romance

Blurb:

Have you ever wanted to forget? Nariella Woodlinn has. Many times. Especially when her already frustrating life gets turned upside down by a mysterious boy who randomly shows up in her small town and she can’t seem to understand anything about him, despite how much she tries. Nari hates everything about her life except for her best friend Rydan, but now that they’ve been separated during their senior year of high school, she has to learn to make new friends without him. When strange unexplainable phenomena start becoming an every day part of her life, Nari struggles to come to grips with reality. And with love. Naminé has responsibilities. Duties. It is her obligation to fulfill all that is asked of her by their King. But when a glimmer of hope is introduced to her by a prisoner she tends to and it means life or death for her and her people, she does all that she can to turn that hope into reality and finally end the vicious war that has been ensuing since she was born. Even if that means keeping it secret from her King. Even if it means carrying out the biggest betrayal against the King ever seen during her time. She has hope. She will fulfill her duty. She will not let her people down. Some secrets are best kept in Oblivion. Sweet Oblivion is the first novel in a series. Sweet Escape, the second book in the The Sweet Series, is set to release during 2013.

Where to buy Sweet Oblivion:

  My Review:

Several of my friends read this book & raved about it so I thought I'd give it a try.....I was blown away!

We meet Nari whose life is in shambles when she literally runs into the stunningly handsome Mycah. He's becomes Nari's lifeline as her life suddenly becomes even more chaotic. This however, comes with a price. Mycah begs Nari not to tell her life long best friend, Rydan the mysterious things she's seen Mycah do.

The magic of this story doesn't end there.....another story is interweaved into Mycah & Nari's. The enchanting Naminé is trying desperately to reach someone. If Naminé can't make her intentions clear, everyone will be in grave danger.

What ya thinking about Mycah?

What I thought about Sweet Oblivion:

absolutely fell in love with this book and I found myself engrossed from the first page to the nail bitting cliffhanger at the end. The reader can't help but fall in love with the sweet natured, self-reliant Nari.  Although her life has been tragic, she's very optimistic about her future, no crying & whining from this girl!!! Rydan is a source of light for Nari and is always there to give her comfort. Cue Mycah *sigh* the mysterious and sexy Mycah enters Nari's life with a crash (no really Mycah literally bumps into her on the way into school) even though he offers more questions than answers, Nari feels a pull toward Mycah that she can't ignore. Being with Mycah has its challenges, like putting Nari's life in constant danger. These challenges are outweighted by Mycah's utter devotion to Nari, Mycah let's Nari in on his dark secret because he loves her. But will it be enough to make Nari want to stay with him? Will have to read to find out!!

I truly loved this book 5 out of 5 cowgirl hats!!!

*sigh*

**Cowboy of the Week**

Mycah *swoon & sigh* Nightly, I can never manage to say his name with out a little sigh at the end. Now I'm not going to lie, I have been in love with fictional boys before. Then I met Mycah *sigh* he makes all other boys nonexistent. This is very difficult to try and explain Mycah with just a few words.......sexy, daring, sexy, mysterious, sexy, passionate, sexy, brave, sexy, loyal, did I say sexy yet???

First, Mycah saves Nari from her drunken, violent step father. Second, when Nari is thrown into a series of mysterious events, Mycah not only steps in to help Nari, he willingly risks his own life to save hers. Third, Mycah is very mysterious. He never tells Nari where he sneaks off to, just that he can't stay away from her for long because they're magnetically drawn together. Nari asks Mycah if it's become a habit of his to rescue her all the time. To which replies "I think it's more of an addiction" *squeeeeeeel*  Last, but not least he has a British accent!! Is that not just the icing on the sexy cake that is Mycah????

I fell in love with Mycah from the moment he first saved Nari, but what sealed my fate & made my heart forever Mycah's was when he tells Nari his astonishing secret. All because he deeply loves her & desperately wants her in his life.

Want more of Mycah? Go grab Bailey Ardisone's Sweet Oblivion.......just remember Mycah is MINE *clears throat & fixes hair* I mean you'll love him too.

About my girls Bailey Ardison:

Bailey Ardisone is a collaboration by two sisters born and raised outside Chicago, Illinois. They took the last names of their two grandmothers and combined them together to form their pen name. They both married the love of their lives and spend their days submerged in books, movies, music, or art and love traveling. Fantasy books and movies have been a huge part of their lives and are obsessed with
