Review:
*sigh* I was swept up in the romance of this book from the first page and held tight until the very end! Caroline and Thaddeus *sigh again* passion held them together, a bond that can never be broken. Now decades later Caroline feels the gaping hole in her heart that was once filled by Thaddeus. Confused and a bit scared, Caroline tries to push these longings deep down only to have Thaddeus call out to her in her sleep.
Feed up and ready for answers, Caroline heads to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Here the lines longing and passion become blurred. The fate of their love is in Caroline's hands. Will she follow her heart or turn and run???
My thoughts:
I think this book is very well written. Even though Caroline felt uncontrollably drawn to Thaddeus, she wouldn't fall for him unless he proved himself to her. There was not a moment I thought anything other than "Awwwww how romantic" or *sigh* that's incredibly sweet!" the character's bond wasn't forced or fake. If you're addicted to romantic stories about true love overcoming all odds, this story is for YOU!!!!
