Blog tour and Review: Emily Walker's "Why Yellow Jackets Can't Find The Hole"

Title: Why Yellow Jackets Can’t Find The Hole
Author: Emily Walker
Genre: fantasy/Greek mythology
Hosted by:

Blurb:

The Yellow Jackets are a group of young men in their early twenties who have taken a vow of sexual purity. But making a vow and keeping a vow is two different things. Each of them struggle in one way or the other to remain sexually unscathed. Bryant, one of the Jackets, has moved off campus from the all-boys school and finds himself neighbors to a very tantalizing beauty. Only this girl is much more than she seems, and unbeknownst to Bryant, she makes it her mission in life to take his virginity. Bryant and his roommates, in the meantime, are slowly discovering that all of their fellow Yellow Jackets have secrets. Not to mention that there’s a spy in their midst—one who is doing everything he possibly can to expose the fact that the Yellow Jackets are not as ‘pure’ as they all seem.

My Review:

This book took a refreshing look at sexual purity, all the points of view were from young men!! I love that new perspective! The Yellow Jackets is entertaining, highly amusing and funny as hell!! Emily captured the male perspective so well, I honestly felt as if I was spying on these poor men.  I knew all of their most intimate thoughts and fears.  Which made me love them even more. My favorite character had to be Bryant *sigh* He makes life a little bit harder on himself when he moves off campus.  Soon he meets a girl who isn't all she seems....

This girl is determined to sleep with Bryant ( like the reversal of roles there?) Can Bryant find true love or will it only involve sex??

I very much enjoyed each of the characters and their struggles to stay pure, they all learned, changed and grew with each decision they made ( or didn't make) So my question for you, can the boys do it??? Read to find out!!
