Review:
I was blown away the moment I started this book!! It captivated me from the first page until the very end!! I couldn't put it down!!!! I have to admit, I ordered my girls dinner a few times instead of cooking!!! But what my husband doesn't know won't hurt him right?? *giggle* So what was so awesome about this book that it took me away from my family obligations??

Tenna has been carefully piecing her life together for eighteen years. Craftily appearing "normal" to the outside world.  Tenna's world comes crashing down around her when an attempted  assassination forces Tenna out of her fancies and thrusts her into the reality of what she was meant to be....a demon huntress.  So cool right??  I just loved this part because Tenna must push herself to her breaking point. She has no choice but to face this because she's the only one that can stop the darkness.

Ok this is cheesy, but Tenna reminded me of Elisa! Beautiful,
strong and powerful. Yet she had no idea of her inner
strength until she was pushed to her breaking point!!

For the first time in her life Tenna must decide whats more important, her life or thousands of unknown humans.  Will Tenna turn her back or die to save others?

Yeah, see why I couldn't put this book down?? There was so much to love!! I think its so very important to have a strong female character to look up to in to day's world and Tenna is a shinning example. She's not afraid to admit she's terrified ( uh who wouldn't be??) The amount of growth Tenna goes through in this story is outstanding!! She's a completely different person, I was very proud of how far she'd come and how much she'd grown by the end of the book!  I can't wait for the next book!!! Hurry!! CL WRITE!!!

Excerpt:
“The Three Musketeers it is.” She looked from one man to the other; neither found this amusing. “Come on, guys. That was a little funny.” I shouldn’t have said that.
Jason shot up from the couch and loomed over her, his hands trembling again. “Funny? You think this is funny? You have never truly Hunted and now we’re putting you in the front line. The two of us,” he waved his hand between himself and Russell, “are intentionally putting the most important woman on the face of the Earth directly in the line of fire.”
Whoa. That was intense. The most important woman on Earth? It seemed a bit of a stretch to Tenna.
She stood to see eye to eye with Jason - more like eye to chest - and tried to stretch up on her toes to seem a little taller. “Look, last night was awesome, and I can tell you care about me…both of you,” she looked over to Russell and dipped her head, “but you’re going a little far with the protection detail. You were the first person to step up and endorse me as a Hunter. Can’t you have a little faith in me? Please?”

About my girl CL Parks:

CL Parks has had a passion for writing since reading Charlotte’s Web in kindergarten. After rewriting the ending to gift Charlotte with immortal life she became obsessed. Her tastes quickly moved from sweet and innocent to the supernatural after reading Stephen King in fifth grade. Since the moment she picked up Pet Semetary she devoured every supernatural and preternatural book she could get her hands on by authors ranging from Anne Rice to Stephanie Rowe.
When not fully engulfed in the latest release or typing away at her newest novel you can find her corralling her chickens, playing with her dogs, spoiling her large lizard or sewing a new vintage inspired dress. Her dream is to travel the country in an RV with her husband while writing more books…after the kids have gone on to college, of course.
