Review:
I have to say I haven't read the other books in the series BUT, you don't need to have read the first four (I do want to now thought!!) You won't feel lost or left behind by jumping into book five. LP does a fantastic job of giving her readers the background of each character, how well they enter act and who likes who. It was perfection.
This story focuses on Cooper, a football player*sigh* whom I love by the way, and Kate the doctor for the team. Kate, never had to worry about any of the guys on the team hitting on her because her brother plays for the team and was a nice buffer between her and the players *giggle* I really enjoyed the fact that Intercepting Love was written both in Cooper and Kate's point of view. It was very interesting to "see" how each of them felt about the other and what was going on around them.
The more time Cooper and Kate spent together, the more they began to trust each other and become the emotional safety net the other needed. The more comfortable Cooper and Kate, their pasts hurts began to resurface. This was a challenge that they faced together and soon realized the other was exactly what they needed.
LP isn't done with this exciting love story yet!! Ladies meet Luke *sigh* He just happens to be Kate's brother's best friend and has quite the reputation of being a major player. However when it comes to Kate, she's a whole new ball game!! Luke sets his sights on her and isn't ready to give up on her!!
