WOW!! What an extraordinary imagination Steven has!! With his vivid details, fascinating characters and exciting plot, I was pulled into this amazing book right away and didn't let go until the very end. The reader is transported into a new Earth ruled by mythical creatures once found only in our wildest imaginations!!
After "The Black" when most of the humans were killed, Eric Cross is a warlock and part of the Viper Squad, a group that fights vampires. Eric has an even more important job than protecting the humans from the vampires, hunting down Red, a witch who has betrayed the humans. She has powerful magic and secrets she plans on sharing with the vampires. If she succeeds, not only are the humans lives in danger, so will Eric's and everything he loves hangs in the balance.
