Review: Tista Ray's "Only For You"

Title: Only For You
Author: Tista Ray

Blurb:

It is said that people’s lives are tales of two great journeys - the pursuit of happiness and the search for true love.

Edward seems to have achieved one of these ultimate goals by falling in love with Daisy.

But in his quest for true love, will he be willing to let go of his one special friend, and perhaps, sacrifice his chance for happiness?

If there’s a choice between love and friendship, will Edward sacrifice one for the other? Will he be able to live with his choice and never ask himself what if he chose the other?

My Review:

The book was done in the main MALE characters  Edward's *sigh*  POV, which was truly amazing!! I love getting into a guy's head and seeing what they're thinking and oh did Edward have a lot to say!!!

How I felt about Edward's playboy ways before Daisy

Edward along with his friends Ryan, Jack, Daisy and Ady are all in college and very good friends. Edward has a bad habit of going through a lot of girls and has no interest in getting serious or settling down for anytime soon...That is until he begins to date Daisy *giggle*

Although Daisy liked Edward, she's not going to put up with his playboy attitude and let's him know it.  Soon Edward realizes maybe his feeling for Daisy run much deeper than he realized and he must fight to save their love, but is it too late?

This is how I felt about Edward at the end of the book!

What I thought:

This story will touch your soul and stay with you always. Tista has formulated the perfect mixture of lovable characters, romance, drama and a bit of humor just for fun.  The amount of growth Edward went through was astonishing. This was not easy to accomplish, it took heartache, loss and being knocked off his high horse a few times for him to come out as the well rounded man he became at the end.  No worries, its not all the highs and lows of first loves!  This couple's friends provide plenty of laughs with their sarcastic comments and sometimes unwanted (but hilarious) advice. Only For You is a charming and romantic must read!!!

Other Works:

The Gift of a Rose is a romantic voyage around a love filled world. Love is the invisible thread that ties the world together. These poems follow the threads to the four corners of the world, unraveling love stories and celebrating the passion and joy of a world in love. The Gift of a Rose is a fragrant bouquet of poetry for the romantics of this world to discover and enjoy. An ideal gift for the one you love!

Summer's Edge and Summer's Double Edge examine relationships in transition, perhaps at an end. Indeed, not all relationships are meant to last. The first in the two-book summer anthology from Elephant's Bookshelf Press, Summer's Edge contains tales of love and loss, new beginnings and attempts to fix past mistakes. Stories will appeal to readers young adult, horror, and those who enjoy a clever twist in their happy and unhappy endings. Authors include Simon P. Clark, Samantha Enders, Robb Grindstead, Amanda Hill, Julie Hutchings, R.S. Mellette, Jennifer Prescott, Shawn Proctor, Tista Ray, Matt Sinclair, Ken Staley, A.M. Supinger, and Cat Woods.

 About Tista Ray:

Interests: Reading, Writing, Photography, Films, Cooking, and so on. The list's surely endless.

Now a little about me. Life has always been a surprise to me. Everyday has been special and so was the day my first article got published in a local newspaper.Thereafter, a series of my writings have made it way to the same newspaper. Only at the age of 11 I acquired a limited fan circle.

Later in the year 2011 my life changed dramatically with my first publishing deal. Even though I had completed my debut novella at the age of 17, it took a while to have it in print. Finally, in January 2013 I could call myself as a published writer.

That's probably the shortest way to describe my journey as a writer. But behind my achievement there's a series of ups and downs accompanied by days of efforts, determination and most of all passion.
