Blog Tour: Character interview and giveaway Quinn Loftis' "Sacrifice of Love"

Sacrifice of Love (Grey Wolves Series Book 7)

by Quinn Loftis

Synopsis:

As one evil falls, another rises in its place. The powerful witch, Desdemona, has finally been killed by an alliance of wolf, elf, and fae. But Reyaz, brother to Cypher the warlock king, has vowed retribution for a life that was taken from him. Now Cypher must decide not only how to protect his newfound mate and his people, but also how to destroy the only family he has left.
Meanwhile, Jen’s pregnancy progresses and the fateful due date draws ever nearer. The thought of losing Decebel’s child constantly threatens to overwhelm her. With each passing day, Decebel grows more distant, causing Jen to wonder what toll the impending loss of their child is taking on him. Unbeknownst to Jen, in an act of desperation to protect his unborn child and mate, Decebel strikes a deadly bargain with the Great Luna—his life in place of his child’s. There is only one way for that to happen; the bond between he and Jen must be broken.
As Jen as Decebel struggle through their darkness, another kind of darkness is infiltrating Fane’s heart. Doubts and questions linger as he tries to cope with the emotions brought on in the aftermath of Desdemona’s curse. He knows what happened wasn’t real, but still he can’t rid himself of the terrible images seared into his memory. Jacque is his light, the one who keeps the darkness at bay, yet he won’t let her inside to do just that.
Sally continues to learn what it means to be a gypsy healer and Costin struggles to protect her as she runs full speed ahead to help her wolves, heedless of her own safety. She sees her best friends struggling, each enduring their own trials. She’s desperate to help them, but can she keep them safe?
With all of these things hanging heavy over the heads of the Serbia and Romania packs, their attention is divided. The wolves do not even realize a threat has slowly infiltrated their midst. Will they recognize the threat in time to save the lives that precariously hang in the balance?
Against this backdrop of darkness, choices will be made, fears will confronted, and the ultimate sacrifice will be made. Will the wolves stand together to defeat the threats arrayed against them, both from within and without? Will love conquer all? Or will the beleaguered wolves finally succumb to their demons?

“I hate to break into this obviously shocking moment, but could you please share with us what you know so that we can properly freak out?” Jen asked matter-of-fact like.
“It’s not something that is talked about, ever,” Elle told her.
“Well circumstances have changed, so I think it’s time to start talking about the fae’s dirty little secret.”
“I think we better all sit down for this,” Alina told the group.
“Crap,” Jacque murmured, “it’s never a good sign when they tell us we need to sit down.”
“Have to agree with you there wolf-princess. It usually means they’re about to drop a new supernatural creature in our laps and I swear if it’s a sparkling vampire then I’m going to push someone off the ledge of ridiculousness we are all perched on like morons,” Jen huffed as she sat on the ground, attempting at gracefulness, but failing miserably because of her swollen belly.
“Is it a giant centipede that releases slimy secretions as it crushes everything around it?” Sally asked.
The group collectively turned and looked at the healer with furrowed foreheads and raised eyebrows.
“What?” she mumbled. “It could happen.”

OK ladies I have a special treat for y'all!! I interviewed the ever dashing ( and extremely hotheaded ) Fane!!!  *fan girl scream* This was so fun for me because he was my first book boy crush.  To help avoid confusion my questions and comments will be in pink, while Fane's will be in blue. Enjoy!!

"Hello Fane!" "Thank you SO very much for meeting with me today!"
"I want to apologize ahead of time for all of the sighing, gasping, drooling, swooning, giggling & possible fainting!" "You've been warned!"
"Shall we begin?"

"Let's start with your childhood, do you have a favorite childhood memory?"
"I don't think I can pin point any one memory, I have so many. I have been blessed with parents who have loved me and always been at the forefront of my life." "Your parents are pretty amazing!"

"As the Prince of Wolves *giggle* get it?" "Ok, sorry I'm nervous....." *clears throat & tries again* "How have your parents groomed you to become King?"
*lets out a slight chuckle* "My parents have made sure to educate me not only in the Romanian culture, or Canis lupis culture, but in other major cultures as well" "They have taught me politics and diplomacy so I guess in a way they have groomed me." "Oh so it was really more of a lifestyle."

"Ok, let's get into the good stuff......" *giggles* "Tell me your thoughts & feelings the moment you saw Jacque."
*Shifts in chair and rubs his chin* "Awww the first time I saw Jacquelyn, now that is a moment that will forever be burned into my mind."  *sigh* "I felt over joyed, scared, jealous and protective all at once." "It was quite overwhelming, but it was also a huge blessing because it meant that I had found my true mate, the other half of my soul." *nods and sighs* "Very sweet."

"You, Jacque & your entire pack have been through some very dramatic & frightening situations." "Has there ever been a time that you were truly afraid you wouldn't make it through alive?"
"I think that every time we have been in one of those situations your first thought is always what if we don't survive?" "What if this time we can't make it?" *wide eyed & nods* "But you can't let those feelings take over, I know that I have to be strong for Jacque so she can have her, as she calls them, freak outs." *sigh* "You re truly amazing!"

"So male wolves tend to be a bit........um......*coughs & shifts uncomfortably* over protective?!"  "Give me an example of a time Jacque really pushed her limits with you."
"The night Dec and I had to pick them up from the bar." "Having her there without me around all those males, not a good thing for anyone involved." *clears throat* "Yes that was uncomfortable just reading about it!"

"Alright Fane *looks at notes & shifts uncomfortably* are you ready for some tough questions?"
*quirks an eye brow* "My mates best friend is Jen. Need I say more?" *relaxes a little bit* "OK that's true!" *giggles*

"Being trapped in the In- Between left the males broken, but you shattered." "You closed up & pulled away from everyone." "Can you shed some light on those feelings?"
*visibly tenses, eyes begin to glow* * tries to scoot back into seat as much as possible and not make eye contact* "I don't think it's possible for a woman, no disrespect meant, to understand how helpless a man feels when she is taken advantage of and he can't protect her." *stricken expression and nods* "And then the curse took it one step further and showed me what every males fear is, that their mate would turn to another." "I felt emasculated, I felt unwanted though I knew neither was true." "You were trapped in your worst possible nightmare, I just can't even imagine the amount you suffered."

"What finally made you realize it was time to make a change & fight the darkness seeping in?"
"I was loosing Jacquelyn." "She was slipping right through my fingers and that is one thing that I am not willing to lose." *sad smile and nods* "You were loosing the one person you were afraid of loosing." "I think you two are stronger now, knowing what your capable of loosing."

"Now that your pack is safe from sadistic witches &  warlocks  describe a typical day for you."
"Wake up, school, we still have to graduate, spend time with Jacquelyn hanging out." "Train with my father and Sorin." *giggles* "Nice and normal life!" "I like it!!"

"Are you & Jacque able to hang out with the other girls & their 'fur balls' & what do y'all do for fun?"
"We take runs when we can, Sally has to stay behind though." "We have dinner together and the girls cook all together." "We have pack game nights." *giggles* "That sounds like so much fun!" "What I wouldn't give to be a part of that!"

"What activities do you & Jacque enjoy now that y'all can live a normal safe life?"
"Just living everyday life with out worrying about someone dying. Getting to just be is a fantastic feeling." "Must be nice to be able to just chill with loved ones instead of worrying if you'll see them alive the next day!"

"I'll try & keep from swooning.......what's the most romantic thing you've done for Jacque?"
"Had a bubble bath with candles waiting for her one evening, then one of her favorite snacks and that's all I'll say about that." *sigh* "No that's perfect!" *giggles*

"Well That's all I have for you Fane, thank you for meeting with me today!" "I enjoyed spending time with you!" Please tell Jacque I said hello!"
"Thank you, I appreciate it." *giggles* "Bye!"

So what do y'all think? Feel like you know Fane a little better I hope!? If you don't feel you know him well enough, it's the perfect time to get "Prince of Wolves"!!!
