~Nari~

I suddenly felt anxious, excited even, at the prospect of laying eyes on Mycah again. On being enveloped in his woodsy scent. The way my soul felt complete and whole again only his presence alone could accomplish. ...Were we really just friends?

And then there he was.

As I took the last stair, his eyes found mine from the "Greeting Room" he quietly sat in, drinking from an antique teacup.

He watched me carefully as he slowly put the cup to his alluring lips and took a sip. My heart danced wildly in my chest with every step I took, drawing closer and closer.

I waved at him, not able to speak just yet.

“Morning, beautiful,” he whispered. His English accent made the words sound musical. Or maybe it was his silky voice that did it. Or it could have been the combination of the two, I really didn’t know. Either way, my stomach did a flip.

And then I thought, it must have been the way he was looking at me, not even trying to hide the desire that flooded his aqua eyes as soon as they locked onto mine.

The sun played with his eyes, bringing out the unique colors and making them more vivid. Even though he was lit up by the streaming sun that shone brightly through the large bay window, he never looked more dangerous.

And he never looked more sexy.

Well, that could be debatable.

I mean, if you wanted to count the time he was dripping wet and practically naked, well then, one really couldn’t say.

But this moment was definitely a top contender for first place.

He stood up, keeping perfect posture and foreign demeanor exquisitely intact, and came over to me.

“You alright?” he asked, lips pulling up in a side smile. I nodded, half hating the spell he always put me under, half totally loving it.

He reached out and slowly slid his hand into mine, intertwining our fingers together and pulling me toward the front door. He chuckled and slightly shook his head at the ground.

~Nari~

I laid mesmerized from the position on my back, staring up at the cloudless sky. It was as blue as a Robin’s egg. If not more blue. The sun shown extremely bright, but the rays did not scorch my skin. The air was comfortable. Very comfortable. It was the perfect temperature. Warm, without being too warm, and no humidity.
I did not move.
I was afraid to move in case this was all just a dream, and any slight stir would make it vanish, throwing me back into tormented reality. It must be a dream, right? Clearly, I had busted my head against the tree trunk and knocked myself out...And I was only imagining this while Zaylie, I was sure, was worried and trying to wake me up.
Right?
I could feel the grass beneath me. Soft, lush, exquisite. As if I laid against the perfect bed made just for me. I was Goldilocks and it was just right.
A colorful bird soared above me. But as it descended closer, obscuring my view of the sky, I realized it was not actually a bird at all. It was the strangest butterfly I had ever seen. Its wings were a rainbow of colors - and it was huge. Bird-like huge.
But I didn’t feel frightened or grossed out like I usually did by insects. This was different. It felt different here. The butterfly flapped its wings so gently and effortlessly. I numbly reached up while it landed weightlessly on my fingers.

The moment it touched me and started cleaning its antennae, even though I could barely feel it on me, I got the striking feeling that this was real. Very real. I quickly sat up, causing the vivid butterfly to take flight again, and gazed around the beauteous expanse encircling me.

An interveiw with Mycah & Rydan!!!

Good morning to my two favorite boys * tries to stifle squeal but fails miserably* today I have Mycah Nightly & Rydan O'Malley with me from Bailey Ardisone's brilliant book "Sweet Oblivion." 

Their answers will be color coded! Mycah = blue / Rydan = dark/burnt red.

 I'm absolutely thrilled y'all took time out of your busy schedules to come talk with me!! Ok I'll try to keep my fan girl screams, squealing & fainting to a minimal, but you have been warned, so let's get started boys!

Mycah & Rydan: You both grew up with very different childhoods. Describe how these experiences have shaped the men you have become today.

Mycah: Hello lovely ;) I believe having a sense of purpose helped me quite a lot actually. It gave me drive and determination. You shall find out more on that later. ;) *sighs & whispers* Ok

Rydan: Scream if you must. *giggle* I have no objections ;) Just kidding. My childhood wasn't typical. I grew up with some insecurities that I've struggled with most of my life, until recently, which you will get to learn about in the upcoming 2nd book - Sweet Escape. Looking forward to it!

Rydan: You're very musically talented. Do you see yourself making a career out of music?

Hell yes! *giggle* Music is all I think about it. It never stops playing in my mind, it is almost a sickness. If I don't play, if I don't get the melody out, it will literally drive me crazy. It is my dream to make it my career. *sigh* perfect Love!

 So Mycah, *It's very hard to keep eye contact with those striking blue eyes.*  * I clear my throat & try again* What do you like to do when you're not  bravely saving Nari's life? 

*chuckle* I fancy reading. I can never seem to keep my nose out of a book. I find it is a way to escape my own dramatic reality, and all the responsibilities I have resting on my shoulders. *whispers to self*  and what lovely shoulders they are.....

 What do y'all consider your greatest  achievement?

 Getting Nariella to fall in love with me ;) I cannot imagine anything more difficult *chuckle*  *squeals and jumps up & down in chair*

 *rolls eyes* don't make me spew all over you, man.*mock anger* Be nice Ry! *giggle* My greatest achievement? Hmm...I once did a concert playing violin during the first half, and the piano for the 2nd. It was a huge undertaking, I was told, but it was amazing for me. Um... yeah, that's pretty huge!

So Rydan you're gaining quite the fan girl following. How do you feel about that? *squeeeeal*

Am I really? I don't know about that... Trust me Love, you DO!!

Alright boys what would y'all say is your biggest fears?

 Ummm...I'm not really one to share those kinds of things ;)

 Bloody hell, Rydan. Don't be such a coward. Listen love, my answer is simple. My biggest fear will always be not being able to save everyone. Not being enough.

Awww, you're making me tear up. Oh, wait..nope, my bad. That's just me rolling my eyes again.

Alright boys, *hands Mycah & Rydan a glass of water* should we move on?

Rydan, How do you feel Mycah & Nari's relationship affected you & Nari's relationship? Do you feel it's changed in any way?

That moron. Everything was perfect before he came along *jabs a thumb in Mycah's direction* Yes, I do feel it has changed a bit. We can't be as close as we once were. I'm not the person she comes to for every little thing anymore. It sucks. But I'm glad she is happy.
I can understand that. I'm sure you'll find love soon as well. *pats Rydan's leg*

Mycah,  At what point in the relationship did you realize you were falling in love with Nari? *sigh*

When I saw how passionate she was about her broken sculpture. I had never felt such mixed emotions coming from one person before. It was strikingly intriguing, and then it only escalated after I saw her dragon painting in the art room. Awwww!!!

Mycah & Rydan, Do either of you have a juicy secret you'd like to share with your fans? *leans forward in chair*

 Alright, I suppose I shall share this one. I due hope my author doesn't kill me for this...but I've actually known about Nariella since she was a baby. You will learn more about that in Sweet Escape though ;) *gaaaaasps* Whaaat???? *grabs cell to call B*

 Psh. I'm a buttload of secrets. And I've got none I'll be sharing with anyone. Sorry :P *pouty face*

Rydan, What's your favorite childhood memory?

Going whale watching. You'll find out why later. Oh! interesting!!!

 * looks at Mycah in awe* I've read that you love to ride dragons???  Please explain this experience!!

Oh, darling. If I explained all that now it would only ruin everything. But c'mon...who doesn't love to ride dragons? ;) *squeak*

Mycah: Who says I wear any at all? ;) *chuckle*  *gaaaaasps & grips chair to prevent passing out*

Bailey Ardisone is a collaboration between two sisters who were born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois. They combined their creative forces to write the first book in their series, called Sweet Oblivion. Though the name Bailey Ardisone applies to both of them, for the sake of answering questions they will each take on one of the names to make things easier.

The older sister of the two in Bailey Ardisone, has always loved getting lost in books, movies, music, and art. Fantasy is her favorite genre. She gets her love of words from their grandmother who together used to write poems, short stories and even greeting cards. Her biggest goal would be to travel and explore the world.
