My Review:
This is a very strong & emotional lesson in the power of love concerning all odds. The connection between Lexi & Cole is unbreakable & often Lexi's source of willpower. Lexi's unrecognizable world is crumbling around her & the only thing she has to cling to is pain & sorrow. For fifty years now the Commander has curley ruled the land, using the seven deadly sins & as his guideline. Each person is assigned a color according to which sin has been broken, if that wasn't enough, the sin is literally branded on to the accused. Lexi finds herself wrongly accused of lust & forced to spend her time in the HOLE. Extreme danger is Lexi's constant companion, but she continues to fight, refusing to give up on the hope that one day her life will change.
Cole willingly places his life in danger when he crosses the line from Lexi's guard to the protecter of her heart. He is respectful, devoted & enamored with Lexi willing to do whatever it takes to, make her happy. Can these two keep their taboo love a secret? You'll have to read to find out!!
What I Thought:
Oh this story was so amazing!!! A life lesson of self reliance wrapped in a beautiful & enchanting love story. Although wounded, Aston never felt sorry for himself or whined about his past experiences. I fell in love with him immediately & found myself pulling for him, wanting him to face his fears & feel whole again. Megan's unrelenting faithfulness & respect, was the cattilest that made Aston want to shatter his loneliness & face his past. The beautiful life lessons found in this amazing love story, will stay with for a long time to come.

After college, they added jobs, husbands and kids to their lives, but they still found time for their friendship. Instead of hanging out on weekends, they went to dinner once a month and reviewed books. What started out as an enjoyable hobby has now become an incredible adventure.
