My Review:

Dr. Lydia Ashley a genius young and determined to get a position on the coveted Endure. At the young age of 14, Lydia lost her parents  instead of holding her back this only fueled goals to become the best of the  best. When Lydia did take the time to slow down, she found it hard to relate to her fellow students. Until she did some research and found Daniel Brewer on the Endure. Just like Lydia, he had lost a parent at a young age and carries the burden "genius" often brings. Could Daniel be the one person to finally understand Lydia's world???

Daniel Brewer never met a girl he didn't like, he's gone through most of  the girls on the Endure and has started to become bored, then he meets Lydia....... The moment he lays eyes on her he knows his playboy days are over.  Suddenly Daniel is showing his true potential and actually doing his job. As handsome and charming as Daniel is, Lydia refuses to become another notch on his sliver of a headboard. While doing some medical research, Lydia stumbles upon a deadly plan that endangers not only the crew of the Endure but the entire world.  At a loss of what to do, Lydia turns to Daniel for help.  Before long, these two can no longer fight the attraction between them and give into the greatest passion they've ever known. Can Lydia trust Daniel with her heart????

What I Thought:

This book will always hold a special place in my heart because I was one of the first privileged people to read it.  I fell in love with Daniel right away, his sarcastic, charming and carefree personality had me laughing through the entire book. The complete transformation Daniel undergoes is truly amazon, I think I loved him even more when I finished this book. This is a MUST read y'all!! 5 out of 5 cowgirl hats!!!!

And now for a special treat...... My interview with Daniel. To avoid confusion, all my questions/answers will be in pink and Daniel's answers in blue. Enjoy......

Hey Daniel, thanks for taking the time off to do this interview with me. My name is Kelly and I'm absolutely thrilled you decided to do this.  Please ignore all the giggling and squealing!

It’s great to meet you, Kelly. It’s nice to take a break every now and then to chat with people. All work and no play… you know the saying. Thanks for the invitation! *giggle*

Ok so lets get started, being a genius at a young age and being on the Endure must have been rough, would you change it if you could? Please explain.

Well, I don’t know that I would change anything now, but, yeah, it wasn’t always easy. When I was younger I was everyone’s little brother here, which is a little annoying when you’re smarter than most of the people around you. There were plenty of folks here to keep me in check, so at least I can say my ego didn’t explode to astronomical proportions… mostly. *giggle* I hated it when I first got here. I was a teenage boy surrounded by adults without a prayer of getting a date for about three years. Talk about frustrating. That, uh, changed when I turned 18. Best. Birthday. Ever. Um.... I bet it "changed"!!

What do you consider your best quality to be? What about your worst?
My best quality… You mean I have to pick one? *chuckle*  *eye roll* do you need a bit of time to narrow it down?
I guess I’d say my ability to find workarounds to any problem. There’s always a hack for any situation. Comes in handy when no matter what you say, the hot new girl won’t give you the time of day.
It’s entirely possible that could be my worst quality too. Lydia says that if it’s easy, it’s probably not worth doing, and I’ve sort of come around to that way of thinking. While a hack might get you where you want to go, it’s not necessarily the best way to go about doing something. Lydia is pretty brilliant!!

You've had an um.... "active" past, how has that shaped you into the person you are today?
I wouldn’t be who I am today without being the person I was before first. I suppose it allowed me to get some of my mistakes out of the way early, so when I met Lydia it was easier to know what not to do, but, let’s face it, there’s a steep learning curve when it comes to that woman. I don’t think anything could have prepared me for what my life has become since I met her, but that’s not really a bad thing. It keeps life interesting, that’s for sure! *sigh*

The moment you see Lydia you're in love, (or maybe just lust?) What is it about her that makes you want to change your playboy ways & actually do your job well?
If I’m being honest, I don’t think I would classify that moment as love at first sight, but it was definitely life-changing. At the time, I saw her as a challenge, something I was really lacking at the time. But as it went along, I realized that it wasn’t just about the girl anymore. Because of what I had to do to get her attention, I realized that I was falling way short of what I was capable of and that was disappointing to me. I’d been walking around for years thinking I was pretty damn awesome, *giggle* but was suddenly faced with the prospect that I’d been going about it all wrong and was totally off my game. What Lydia did was inspire me to be a better person, and as a result I got a whole lot better at my job too. Basically, she’s amazing. *sigh*

What would you consider to be your most treasured possession?
My job. It’s not a tangible object, sure, but it really defines who I am above anything else. Living on the Endure, you don’t have a lot of room for “stuff”, so it’s probably a good thing I don’t have to find a place to store it.  Good choice Love!

Whom do you most admire & why?

My dad. We’ve had our differences in the past, but I realize he had his heart in the right place. Maybe that didn’t always translate well to his parenting skills, but he had a very military approach and didn’t really know another way to handle a kid like I was. I guess above all else, I admire his integrity and dedication. If there’s anyone I’d believe always had my back, it’d be him. I have to agree, he's an amazing man!

As your relationship with Lydia grows, you definitely change as a person. In your own words, describe these changes.

Looking back, it seems like a huge change for me, but going through it felt like a natural progression of things. I guess it’s what they call “growing up”? Sometimes all it takes is one thing, whether that’s a person or an event, and your brain kicks into gear. I had known for a while I needed to make some changes, but it took another person pointing out how I was messing up for me to do anything about it. In trying to prove to myself that I could get any girl I wanted, I ended up proving that I could be a better person. At least, I think so anyway. I still slip back into being a total idiot every now and then, but Lydia never hesitates to call me out on it. It definitely keeps me on my toes! I'd have to agree you've grown up quite a bit!

What would you say are your life goals? Has Lydia influenced your goals in anyway?

My life goals? Hmm. That’s kind of hard to say. I guess now I’d like to be remembered as someone who did something good for other people, rather than just another keyboard monkey who was a little smarter than the other primates. *snort* That’s totally because of Lydia. I see how hard she works, and why she does what she does, and it inspires me to be the same. Because of her, I’ve realized how important it is to leave behind a positive mark on the world. You never know what amazing things your actions will inspire. *sigh* you two are SO good together!!

 Describe your fondest childhood memory.

Easy. When I was about eight, my grandfather took me to the Anfield football stadium to see a Liverpool match. The first time I saw the pitch I was hooked. The smell of the grass, the sounds of the crowd, all of it. I fancied myself a bit of a footballer for about two years, but realized I’d never be as good at kicking a ball as I was at writing code. I still love watching the matches, though. I have grand plans of bringing Lydia around to loving it too, eventually. She humors me for now, but I’m sure I can wear her down. Now you have a hobby you love & you can always watch it on tv!!

Now the question on every girl’s mind: Boxers or briefs? *blushes*
Boxer briefs! Best of both worlds. I’d show you, but I think Lydia is on her way back from the lab and might not appreciate that. LOL *deep breath in and grips the chair in an effort not to pass out*

Daniel, thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me! I know you need to get back to Lydia, and work as well??

Work… right. You tell that to grabby hands when she gets here. ;) *eye roll* Um yeah.... it's ALL on Lydia, right!!

Thanks for having me, Kelly! It’s not often I get to meet bloggers of the non-gossip variety, so this was a treat. Hope your readers enjoyed learning a bit about me outside of those tabloid stories!

*After Daniel leaves, I fan myself & take a big gulp of water* Ok what did y'all think about Daniel??
